About Ainscough Associates

Ainscough Associates was founded in 2009 by John Ainscough, an occupational therapist with over 30 years experience across a variety of clinical settings in the NHS, Local Authorities, and as an independent case manager.

Our Approach & Standards

Providing a service that solely specialises in case management has helped us to define a specific approach for understanding and exploring the key competencies of the case manager.

Key Competencies

We believe that the primary competency required by a good case manager is that of being proactive. Put simply, getting things done for our clients!

As well as the right clinical expertise, we believe it's important for our case managers to be expert in commissioning and coordinating excellent services for our clients.

We ensure effective working of the multidisciplinary team, with clear goal focused outcomes which are monitored and reviewed regularly.

Fairness and Transparency

We want to make sure our services are equitable and fair, and as such we work according to a comprehensive charging policy which provides specific and detailed guidance on charging for our services.

Commitment to excellence

We operate a comprehensive set of internal policies and procedures which ensure high standards of work.

Our work is governed by ethical guidance and practice standards from The British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM) and the Case Management Society UK (CMSUK).
